Blog page
Hi there,
I will try to help you with this. I see you wish to display all the posts under sub-headers of Blog menu and not on Home Page. You can achieve this by setting a static front page.
- Create new page for Home- Go to My Sites > Themes > Customise > Static Front Page- Select A static page radio button- From Front page dropdown select the homepage- Click Save&PublishThis will set newly created page as static page for Home.
Follow this tutorial for better understandinghttps://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
I want the 'blog' header in the menu, but not have it be a live page
You can do this by adding a custom link for Blog and then pointing it nowhere.
- Go to My Site > Themes > Customize > Menus- Select the Primary Menu- Click on Add Items- Select Custom Links- Enter '#' for URL- Enter 'Blog' for Link Text- Click on Reorder (or Drag and Drop)- Reorder Blog above sub-header menus- Click Save&PublishThis will add Blog menu with sub-menus linked to posts. Also, your Blog won't point to any page.
Also, watch the tutorial for more clarity on custom menus:https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
Hope this helps!
