Migrating from WordPress.com to a self-hosted site
Hi there,
You can follow the steps given here to migrate your site to self-hosted wordpress.org: https://move.wordpress.com/Or else, you can buy the guided transfer which comes at $129.00 per blog transferred.
What does guided transfer include?
• Installing the WordPress software at your choice of one of our recommended hosts.
• Transferring over the content from your WordPress.com site.
• Installing and configuring Jetpack and a few other plugins to provide features that you have been using on WordPress.com.
• Configuring and testing permissions so that you'll be able to have one-click installs and upgrades.
• Switching your domain(s) name server settings to point over to the new site.
• Answering questions and providing guidance for you on your new WordPress installation for a two week period.
More information about the guided transfer can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/
Hope this was helpful!
