I'm planning to move my blog content from blogger to a self hosted wordpress blog. I am starting out by playing with my blog design on a local server on my computer. Is it possible for me to move my blogger content over to my wordpress blog on a local server BEFORE I go live with my wordpress blog online? (If this is possible, I would like to try it and make sure that my content fits well into the way I have formatted my theme, before I make anything live online or go ahead and purchase hosting).
I have a LOT of posts to transfer (around 1500) and if it is possible to bring them over on a local server and make sure comments transfer and that I can do some redirects BEFORE putting the whole thing online, hosted, that would be great! (but I am a little new to all of this and trying to find out if that's even do-able)
