Domain hosting through WordPress.com
I'm pretty new to the whole web design thing, and I'm confused about hosting my WordPress-built site through WordPress.
Can you actually host a full site through one of WordPress' plans, or do you HAVE to go through a third party like Bluehost?
Right now what I'm trying to do is finish building my site, caitlinjohnson.com. The DNS is currently Google, and initially I used Bluehost to design the site the way it is now. But instead of using Bluehost to do that, can I just pay for a WordPress subscription and build it from there? Ideally I want my DNS and the hosting server to be the same. So, I was going to transfer my domain name to Bluehost, but Bluehost seems expensive. I like WordPress's plans, but are those for hosting as well, or what exactly?
TL;DR: Can you host and build your website using only WordPress if you purchase/upgrade to one of the WordPress 'plans' (that isn't the free one)?
I hope that makes sense and you're not as confused as I am right now. Ha. Thanks in advance!
The blog I need help with is caitlinjjohnson.wordpress.com.
