Blogger vs WordPress Blog

Ok...this is aggravating. I write a post. I publish the post. I get the message that my post has been published to my site, complete with the green checkmark and the '...you have just published etc..' I go to my site - it's not there. I check on WordPress - it's not there either, it's not saved, it's not in drafts. It's gone. And this is not the first time WordPress has done this. What exactly is going on with this?
