Fed up with too many WordPress email notifications filling up your email box? Here's a quick tip for removing those email notifications you may not find necessary.

Go to your blog's dashboard and click on Settings

On the menu bar at the top of the page click on 'Discussion'

Look for the 'Email me whenever' box

Untick the boxes for the emails you do not want to receive notifications for.

Click on 'Save Settings'

If you change your mind then just come back and retick those boxes.

From here you can also choose to manually approve all comments left on your blog posts or allow comments from those that have previously left a comment to appear instantly without having to approve it.
