Plugged In: Form Plugins
Welcome to Plugged In, where we take a look at some of the most popular WordPress plugins in various categories. For more information on WordPress plugins, download our ultimate guide.
A week ago we showcased the top 10 plugins used by WP Engine customers. Forms plugins appeared twice in the list. Form plugins allow you to customize and create beautiful forms. We have compiled a few of the most popular from the WordPress Plugin Repository so you can start hearing from your readers.

As the title says, Contact Form 7 is a great way to create beautiful contact forms. With over one million downloads, the plugin allows you to manage multiple contact forms and customize them to fit your needs. It supports AJAX-powered submitting, CAPTCHA, and Akismet filtering.
Contact Form 7 allows your fans and clients to contact you without you having to post your email.

Fast Secure Contact Form doesn't come with any templates so you can completely customize it. However, you can make multiple forms, reformat them, add, and delete quickly and easily. Add a CAPTCHA code at the bottom of the form to make sure you and your customers are secure.
To make sure everything is completely secure you can even add a password to the form so only users know how to access it.

This plugin saves all the data from your forms into a database. From there you can export to a file or use shortcodes to display and view it. It can be used with a lot of contact form plugins and allows you to easily save and retrieve the data. You can head over to the database instead of sorting through all your emails.
Use the admin page to organize and retrieve any of the forms you want.
Contact forms are a great way to get feedback and questions from your audience and customers without posting an email address and welcoming tons of spam. These plugins make it easy to add a form to any WordPress site.
